Relationships Are the Story—and the Work

Every educator remembers a moment that changed everything.

I want to help schools create more of those moments—intentionally.

I currently work in a public school district and bring 25 years of experience in education to my work with schools and leadership teams. Throughout my career, I’ve served as a Pre-K teacher, kindergarten teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent—experiences that give me a deep, practical understanding of education from the classroom to district leadership.

My work as a speaker and consultant is grounded in one core belief: relationships are the foundation of everything we do in schools. While policies, programs, and initiatives matter, it is often the smallest interactions—a conversation, a choice, a response—that leave the greatest impact on students, staff, and communities.

I am known for delivering messages that are positive, inspiring, and immediately relevant to the realities educators face every day. Through storytelling and real-world examples, I challenge audiences to reflect on their influence and reconnect with their purpose, reminding them that leadership is not defined by position, but by presence.

When I partner with schools and districts, my focus is on helping educators build cultures rooted in trust, connection, and shared purpose. I encourage educators to recognize that their work extends far beyond academics and that the moments they create—intentionally or unintentionally—shape lasting memories for those they serve.

Education is more than a career to me. It is a calling centered on people, purpose, and possibility—and the belief that one moment truly can matter.
